Education:

1962-66 studied at Glasgow School of Art, 1966-67 Post Graduate year (Highly Commended), 1992 Elected member of RGI, 1969-98 Held full-time teaching post at GSA Now lives in Ayrshire and paints full-time.

1978 Colquhoun Memorial Painting Competition, 1988 1st Prize Scottish Drawing Competition, Paisley Art Institute, 1991 1st Prize Scottish Drawing Competition, Paisley Art Institute, 1991 The Cargill Award, Royal Glasgow Institute, 1999 The Scottish Amicable Award.
