Profile:

Glasgow School of Art 1948-53. Artist in residence – Sussex University 1971. Principal Teacher Clydebank H.S. 1968-87. Saltire Awards for Art in Architecture 1984-87 – Work widely represented Public collections. Art Galleries & Museums Scotland. Commissions include Scottish Historical Playing Cards 1973; Lino Cut illustrations ‘Field of Thistles’ (Scottish History) 1983; 100’ Enamel Mural Exhibition Station. Glasgow 1987; Illustrations & Mural – Dallas DHU Distillery Forres (Historic Scotland), also Wall-Hanging, Rothesay Castle 1988-89; Street Banners, Union Street, Aberdeen 1994; All the above based on Lino Cut Prints. Designs for stained glass windows for S. Mary’s Parish Church, Kirkintilloch. Edition of Lino Cut Prints for P&O Ferries 2000. Exhibits mainly at Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh. At present, preparing for one man exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh Festival 2003.
