Welcome to the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts

Who We Are

The Royal Glasgow Institute is an independent organisation promoting and encouraging Scotland's contemporary art and artists. It is the third largest organisation of its kind in the UK.

What We Do

We organise open exhibitions which means that anyone can show and sell their art work once selected.

How We Do It

The Royal Glasgow Institute organises the largest and most prestigious Annual Exhibition in Scotland, which is open to all artists, with some 17 awards of cash prizes - one for a first-time exhibitor - as well as opportunities for solo exhibitions. We offer Exhibition opportunities at our wholly owned and managed Gallery in Glasgow's City Centre - The Royal Glasgow Institute Kelly Gallery. We encourage young people to enjoy art through our highly respected education programme.
