| FRIENDS OF THE RGI |

The inaugural Friends of the RGI met at The Kelly Gallery on 11 February, in enthusiastic support of the expanding programme of the RGI's Gallery-based and outreach activities.
The Group aims to develop the profile of the RGI and fund-raise towards developing ancillary facilities and amenities for the Gallery.
Convenor and RGI Council member, Ann Laing, hopes that more of our members will be encouraged to participate in assisting at events - in the first instance with hands-on help for the monthly Tuesday Talks and associated organisational and administrative legwork.
Working with the Gallery's new Curator and Project Manager, Lynne Mackenzie and Curatorial Assistant, Amy Marletta, the 'Friends' are creating a core group of supporters who can be available for one-off commitments, without the obligation of being on A Committee!
